'This Time Next Year' by Paul Thurlby
by Paul Thurlby
£40.00
Inspired by Only Fools and Horses! Paul< chose Only Fools and Horses as because that was the programme he grew up watching and quite simply, it was the funniest. The underdog has always appealed to me and I think Del’s words ‘This time next year we'll be millionaires’ sums up his determination that there will be a brighter future for them.
Originally from Nottingham, now living in London, Paul Thurlby been a full-time illustrator since September 2006 after graduating from University in Buckinghamshire, England. He holds his pen in an unusual way but it works just fine, thanks. Paul has built up a varied list of commissions working in editorial, advertising, publishing and T-shirt design for clients including The Southbank Centre, Ted Baker, Hodder, The New Yorker, The Guardian, Tate Enterprises, Pimms, It’s Nice That, The French Tourist Board, Templar Publishing, and Warner/Chappell Music.
The inspiration for Paul's work comes from mid-century design and illustration. His style is bold and colourful. His biggest passion is for posters, particularly those by Bernard Villemot,
Prints are unframed. They will be rolled in acid-free tissue paper and and shipped in super strong postal tubes.
